Plant Swap at The Farm

Okay, all you fellow gardeners!   Tomorrow, Saturday May 8th is our first-ever plant swap!    We hope you've surveyed your garden and found a few  plants that you'd like to trade for something new and different.   If you missed the details, check out this post about the plant swap at The Farm.

And even if you're not looking for the plant swap, come on out anyway.  There's still a great variety of plants for sale in the greenhouse and the gardens are looking so pretty this week--the peonies are blooming!

Our postcard that was mailed last week wasn't exactly clear about the date for our first annual plant swap.  The correct date is Saturday, May 8th, the day before Mother's Day. 

Here's how it works:
1) Just bag or pot some of your favorite pass-along perennials growing in your garden and mark them by name.  (Limit ten, please.)
2) When you get to The Farm, check in at the front counter  and we'll give you a number corresponding to the number of perennials that you've brought. 
3) Head on out to the garden and see what others have brought to share. 
4) Pick out that same number of plants to take home for your garden!

We're so looking forward to seeing what you're growing in your garden!  Bring your plants, your friends,  your mom, your gardening stories. . .  We'll have a great time!

Pssst: come on Friday eve (Apr 30th) from 6-8pm for a ‘Sneak Peek’ ~ and take home all your goodies for 10% off!

Sat, May 8: The Farm’s 1st Annual Plant Swap
~ What a fun activity to do for Mother’s Day (before or after a great lunch at Morningstar, of course!)
Bring potted or bagged perennials, tubers, etc. Identify them.
Check in at front desk ~ choose equal number of plants to go home with! Limit ten.  Refreshments will be served in the garden ~ it’ll be great!
