As promised, we're going to give you a glimpse of home decor, Cheryl-style.  Cheryl works at The Farm and she's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.   She's fun with a bubbly personality and a true country heart.   And as you can tell, she's an artist!

January Gardening

It's a different kind of "work" in January, isn't it?  If you're getting cross-eyed from going through yet another  seed catalog, comparing varieties, prices, shipping costs, etc; know that you're not alone.  Check out this week's doodle over at A Way to Garden:  doodle by andre: help for seed-maniacs?.  It'll make you smile.   And while you're there, browse through some of the gardening info on that fantastic blog by Margaret Roach.    Now where was that picture of those baby eggplants?   It's got to be somewhere in one of these twelve catalogs. . .

Thanks to each and every one of you who come out to visit  with us at The Farm.  You made our 2009 season  awesome!   Be sure to follow the blog over the next few months.  We'll still be here, doing what all gardeners do over the winter--dreaming and planning for next spring!  By the way, today is the first day of winter and the shortest day of the year. . . So enjoy that extra minute of daylight that we'll be getting every day!

Last Week of the 09 Season!

Hard to believe this is our final week of the 2009 season.     Closinghouse is Saturday the 19th, with lots of clearance sales!   We'll be closed beginning December 20th, re-opening March 1st, 2010.  It's  been a busy busy time keeping the shop filled with beautiful things for your holiday shopping and we've loved every minute of it.  Stop by this week to pick up any last minute gifts and bargains.  We'd love to see you before we say good-bye for the winter!
